Each plate is bearing a different scene of agriculture and sericiculture. One depicts a character ploughing a rice field with a buffalo while a group of women are hand-picking silk worms in an interior. The other shows a group of men are planting out rice while women are feading silk worms. Each scene is with a poem. The outside of the cavetto is decorated with iron-red enamel flying bats. The base with an iron-red enamel six characters mark "Da Qing Dao Guang Nian Zhi"
