About thirty pieces illustrating the theme of "Symbolism and decoration in Chinese and Japanese art" were shown during an Asian autumn in Paris from 27th September to 25 th November 2000. Amoung the collection, a chinese and gilded and splashed bronze in zun shape from the XVIIth century (see publ. : Orientations- sept. 2000), and, a lacquered writing box (zuzuribako) with its lacquered box (bundai) from Japan dating of the XIXth century (see publ. : l’Argus de l’Antiquité - Oct. 2000 ; Dewid - Nov. 2000 ; Point de Vue - 13-19 Sept. 2000).
